I've created a binder system for my clients that has proven very beneficial. Through it, I teach what financial "paper stuff" is important to keep, enabling my clients to organize this information and keep it current. Clients can then assess their total liabilities and assets on any given month. I keep things simple and no computer is required – who needs another job?
Once compiled, this information aids in loan applications or for preparing to see a lawyer to care for your will and other important documents. Most important, however, is the peace of mind that a sense of control in your financial affairs will bring.
